Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) The acedemic programe for the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) shall be of four years. The examination will be held on annual pattern. Seats Available : Available seats : 60 Admission Eligibility : The minimum qualification shall be Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category), from M.P. Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal or its equivalent examination of any recognised Board/University with General English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2), examination as supplementary/compartment will not be eligible for admission even if their names appear in the merit list. Mode of Selection : 1.
Admission to this course will be made through the combined entrance test MP-Pharma-JET
conducted by DTE, Bhopal. 2.
The syllabus for the examination will be that of Higher Secondary (10+2) of
the M.P. Board of Education, Bhopal 3.
The admission will be made strictly in order of merit of the of Test. 4.
The Candidates successful in Test will be required to appear for counselling
as per the instructions from DTE,
Bhopal. 5.
The successful candidates will be required to produce original certificates
and pay the fees on the day of counselling, failing which their claim to

Hospital Training & Organization of Camps : Under each semester one month training is provided in the local hospitals to acquaint the students with hospital environment and to develop patient relationships. Extensive practical training is provided at hospitals for blood collection and routine pathological techniques. This training in compulsory for all students. Additional health camps are organised in collaboration with hospital for better exposure of students with paramedical problems. 8. Other Information : PGDCPDT is a job oriented self-supporting course.The candidates after passing out this course have chances to get employment as Assistants/Technicians in pathology labs, diagnostic centers, hospitals, nursing homes, research Institutions, analysis and research labs of industries etc. They may also enter in the field of marketing of medicines, drugs, surgicals, diagnostics and other related products. They may also run pathology lab and diagnositc center of their own, in collaboration with a qualified pathologist who is authorised to sign the reports. Most of the pass out candidates have suitably employed or established their own concern. There is a standing demand of well qualified and trained candidates in this field and the scope of the course continues to exist.
