Short Summary of Teaching and Research accomplished:

Teaching: As assigned by the department/university that included teaching to M.Sc.

Students particularly stress physiology and plant physiology.

Research: during the last 5 years earlier interest in research i.e. water stress and potassium

Induced impact on crop plants particularly on nitrogen metabolism was continued and

consolidated to some extent. The work has so far yielded seven-research publication and

communication of two more. In addition to presentations in conference/symposia of the

research finding, two invited lectures were delivered in the National Seminar/symposia.
