Teaching, Learning and Evaluation

We have 927 postgraduate students and 217 UG students in the Campus. We have very well qualified teachers. All our teachers believe in continuing education and most of them participate in short term and long term training programmes. This has been helpful in improving their teaching skills and research activities.

Most teachers participate in updating the curricula. We first suggest changes at the departmental level, which is then taken up at the Board of Studies, and higher levels.

Evaluation procedure is almost fault proof. We have 20% internal and 80% external evaluation. Round the year the students are evaluated through internal assessments, seminars, home assignments, etc. this helps both the teachers and the students to judge their efficiency and capabilities, respectively.
