Healthy Practices

We have adapted and reinforced several healthy practices in the interest of education in the country. We have introduced several need-based and self-supporting courses. With out this the subjects would have remained far from the students of this region and even the country. We have been very strict about regularity, discipline and a ragging free campus. We have never had an instance of ragging associated troubles and the student unrest caused by the University students are very much negligible.

The faculty and the students easily participate in public awareness programmes. The awareness programmes range from environmental concern to human health including vaccination programmes and understanding the functioning of the brain.

The Students' Welfare wing also plays a major role in personality development, value-based education and healthy practices through its several activities. Debate, colloquium, essay, drama, dance and so on are round the year being organized by this wing. Its activity includes state and regional level youth festivals. The most important point to mention is that such activities are largely managed by the students themselves under the supervision of the Dean, Students' Welfare.
